Flying Stallion
Hi, I'm Ace Pegues, yeah, that's my real name. 18. And I've got the spirit of Pegasus from Hercules. I can't fly, which sucks cause that'd be awesome. Catch ya on the flip side.

Mallory finished applying her red lipstick with a pop of her lips, pursing them into the mirror before smiling at her reflection. She was all set to go. Hair in perfect, loose curls. Black, corseted dress with a red shrug and pumps. She had to admit that she looked pretty good. Though there were some curls that just weren’t sitting right, and her makeup still couldn’t mask the flaws in her bone structure… Her cheeks were too puffy. Grabbing her purse, she realized she was running late. No matter. As long as he was already there, there would be no problem. She didn’t really know why she’d signed up for this match thing. She just knew that she wasn’t about to spend Valentines Day alone. And since Eric had signed up for it, she wasn’t about to let him be the only one with the possibility of getting lucky tonight. With someone besides her. He’d be damned if she allowed that to happen. She knew they weren’t exclusive. But she also knew that if he was going to sample others, she was going to do it first. Making her way out of the room and to the lobby, she shook off her earlier insecurities. She had nothing to be insecure about. She had lost a lot of weight recently, a fact she was proud of. She walked into the lobby with her head held high, scanning the room for her ‘date.’ When she spotted him, she placed a smile on her face that was bordering cocky. She approached him with long, languid steps, her long legs filling the distance between them easily. “Hey there, Ace,” she said, raising a brow at him as she got closer. “What cards do you have up your sleeve tonight? Good ones, I hope.”

Ace tapped his foot to the soft music that was playing throughout the lobby, vaguely reminding him of an elevator as he waited for Mallory to show up. He didn’t bring wear a watch and the screen of his phone was broken from a prior accident that he wasn’t ready to think about just yet so he had no way of checking the time because for some reason, the school had yet to put a clock in the lobby, or he just couldn’t find it. It was one or the other, but that didn’t keep him from trying to count the minutes in his head. After having to repeat the third minute because he got distracted, he gave up all together. It wasn’t too long after that that he saw her approaching from a distance. He wasn’t too tall himself, but she was pretty tiny and a good few inches shorter than him, which made him feel slightly better about his height. He almost said so, but figured that it might’ve been rude since some people didn’t like being called short. “Greetings, Madame,” he said with an exaggerated bow. “Well, I don’t have any cards up my sleeve because we’re not going to a casino or anything, but there are some bowling shoes calling my name somewhere. They’re probably calling yours too, but I can’t hear them because that’s how they work.” He gestured towards the door as he advanced towards it, stepping out into the chill Floridian air as he held it open for her, all gentleman like. “I’m going to show you the wonderful world of cosmic bowling. Just a question, you don’t have a preexisting disease that I need to know about, right? Because I hear strobe lights can really affect someone.”

Mallory quirked an eyebrow as he bowed, inwardly rolling her eyes. Was he trying the whole Prince act? He didn’t really seem the princely type. And if she had been matched with a prince, well then clearly something in the system had gotten screwed up. “No cards? With a name like Ace, that’s disappointing. So I shouldn’t be expecting any poker games in the near future?” she gave him a smirk, her witty comment adding fuel to her confidence. His mention of bowling shoes talking to him confused her as she followed him to the door and passed through it. “Cosmic bowling? Geez. What the hell is that?” she asked, turning to wait for him to show her the way to what she expected would be his car. “No. No diseases here bud. Rest assured that I will not be found writhing on the floor tonight.” She shot him a grin. She hadn’t said anything about writhing on a bed.

Ace gave a small shrug in response to her question. “My parents were avid poker players. Granted, they were probably drunk off their asses while playing. We’re Irish, don’t judge too harshly.” He mulled over it in his head. He wasn’t the gambling type, and poker seemed stupid to him, despite his name as so many had pointed out before Mallory and would probably point out long after her. “Only if the chips are actual potato chips.” He clapped his hands quickly, rubbing them together as he prepared himself to tell her all about cosmic bowling. “You have so much to learn, mate. Cosmic bowling was created by some genius who’s name I don’t know and if he’s dead, bless him, but it’s basically bowling in the dark with a bit of a twist. Strobe lights, neon lights, disco balls. It’s basically like being on ecstasy. Not that I’d know, of course.” He pulled his keys out of his pocket, hitting the button to unlock the doors as he searched for his headlights to flash. He walked over towards the black mercedes before opening the driver’s door and looking back towards her. “Good, good. Writhing wouldn’t be fun.”

Oh my god he’s so adorable. She’s going to eat him alive.

Be kind to him while he’s alive.

Normally, Ace would be against meeting a random person and going on a date with them because he had this phobia that he’d be kidnapped and killed, a long lasting paranoia from his childhood. White vans were still terrifying to him. But he was new and it seemed like a good idea to meet new people, and he did like new people, but he had the tendency to be taken advantage of. Never the brightest crayon in the box, he never really seemed to notice it but it was pure fact. He’d been matched with some girl called Mallory, who he’d never seen around the school yet, and he’d been wandering around the school ever since he’d arrived, but she was nice to look at and didn’t seem to be someone that drove around neighborhoods collecting people to murder when they’d finally spoken to set up the ‘date’, so he figured that it couldn’t be too bad. He looked at himself in the mirror, smoothing down his white button up before making sure his hair was in place. He flashed a grin at himself, pointing finger guns at his reflection before grabbing his jacket and heading down to the lobby, where they’d agreed to meet before leaving. He hadn’t thought long and hard about where they’d be going, because he already knew what he wanted to spend the night doing. Cosmic bowling. Who didn’t love bowling in the dark with neon lights all around you? Someone prone to seizures, he’d guessed to himself as he waited for her to show.

b-e-njaminflint said: I give you free reign by the way. Pretend they already chose the place. Pretend they agreed to either meet or have him pick her up. The choice is yours.

I’ve got the powaaaa.
